There’s every indication that LEDs are essentially lifetime bulbs and will always be available when you need them some dark and stormy night. LED lamps with a flashing wig-wag, always-on function further enhance daytime conspicuity (Bertorelli, 2019).

This aircraft reaps the benefit of simplified, organized, and centralized data relevant to the aircraft’s maintenance history. The digital record-keeping system provides instant retrieval of maintenance—with colour photographs where available—of work performed and condition inspection sign-offs for the aircraft.
The GlaStar’s record-keeping file resides on a computer hard drive with backups secured offsite. A hardcopy version of the system’s records is maintained in tabbed sections in a three-ring binder, with signatures written in ink added to each entry for maintenance and annual condition inspections as required by FAR §43.9. Additionally, the handwritten entries and attachments prepared by Maple’s builder and entered into the original ASA-brand logbooks (which are securely stored) dating from 2017 have been scanned and saved in PDF format to preserve evidence of original signatures and content. The scanned pages were then added to the GlaStar’s digital record-keeping system to complete the computerization of the aircraft’s records.
Tabbed sections of the hardcopy version contained in the three-ring binder are:
